Cheyney is and artist and craftswoman living in Cincinnati, OH. She graduated from Indiana University with a BFA in photography. Her work addresses paranoia, womanhood, and fear. Outside of fine art Cheyney practices bookbinding and stained glass.

Eight Pentacle Press is a collection of intentionally bound books. All books are hand-bound using repurposed materials and found objects.
About the Press
The book press used in Eight Pentacle studios was hand crafted by my father from a vintage apple press. He reconstructed the press using materials from our farm house. The interior boards of the press are wood scraps from the family kitchen table and the wooden handle was harvested from an American Horn Beam tree from the woods behind our house. This book press was the last object my father was able to craft before he passed this year. I am honored to use this press every day and pass on some of his loving and creative energy in the books I create.
